Definitions

In the following terms and conditions, The ‘Customer’ refers to the person and/or organisation making the booking. ‘Whistler Connection’ or the ‘Company’ refers to Whistler Connection Travel & Tours Ltd, a company based in Whistler, British Columbia at the following address:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of British Columbia.

Payment Policy

Upon signing of a charter contract, the Customer agrees to pay a $100 non-refundable booking fee to Whistler Connection.

After signing of a charter contract Whistler Connection will send an invoice for the full amount, less a $100 discount. Payment is due 30 days prior to the first date of travel in the booking.

If payment is not made in full by the invoice due date, Whistler Connection reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Payment is accepted by cash, card, electronic transfer or cheque.

Security Deposit

Up to 5 calendar days prior to the first date of travel in the booking, the Customer agrees to allow Whistler Connection to process a credit card hold for up to $500.

Furthermore, the Customer agrees that Whistler Connection may retain some or all of this amount to cover any additional costs arising from the booking, not covered by the initial invoice.

These costs may include but are not limited to:

  • Overtime, charged at the agreed hourly rate.
  • Unusual cleaning, charged at $150 per incident.

Cancellation Policy

Full or partial cancellations must be sent by email to info@whistlerconnection.ca, clearly stating the booking details.

More than 30 calendar days prior to the first date of travel in the booking, no penalty is applied to full or partial cancellations.

Full or partial cancellations made within 30 calendar days of the first date of travel in the booking will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of the invoiced amount.

Full or partial cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the first date of travel in the booking will incur a cancellation charge of 100% of the invoiced amount.

Cancellations due to a wedding or other organised event being prohibited from happening entirely by a BC Provincial Health Order will incur a cancellation charge of 20% of the invoiced amount if the event cannot be rescheduled.

Change Policy

Changes made to bookings by the Customer shall be accommodated subject to the availability of required resources.

Where changes involving additional service cannot be accommodated by Whistler Connection, the original signed charter contract will be unaffected.

Changes made to bookings by the Customer that reduce the scope of work will be considered as partial cancellations and be subject to the cancellation policy.

Limitation Of Liability

Whistler Connection liability is limited to the value of the services under contract.

The Company is not liable for personal property of passengers but will make every effort to assist in cases of lost items.

Whistler Connection is not liable for conditions such as delays or cancellations arising from unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to inclement weather, avalanche risk, road closures, vehicle incidents, mechanical failures, traffic or other circumstances beyond the control of the Company.

Passenger Behaviour

Whistler Connection reserves the right to terminate the charter at the Customer’s cost due to illegal passenger behaviour or other behaviour that may affect the safety of the driver and passengers.

This includes, but is not limited to consumption of alcohol or drugs on the vehicle, distracting the driver and smoking (including vaping) on the vehicle.

Baggage Policy

Whistler Connection follows the guidelines laid out by Worksafe BC for safe manual handling procedures. For the safety of our team members, the weight limit for individual items is limited to a maximum of 32 kg and size is limited to a maximum of 158cm linear dimensions.

For abnormally heavy or large items, please discuss your needs with our team prior to signing a charter contract. Where possible, we will accommodate your requirements.
