Position Overview

The wash bay team is essential to our winter operations, ensuring our fleet of vehicles is cleaned thoroughly and efficiently to meet high standards. Located at our headquarters just north of Whistler village with beautiful mountain views, this role supports smooth shuttle operations by maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of each vehicle.

The ideal candidate is helpful, personable, and brings a positive attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. They must also be able to safely and accurately operate large vehicles within our wash bay and parking areas.

Reports to: Driver Manager
Based in: Whistler, BC
Wage: $23.00 per hour, starts November.
Hours: Full time, winter seasonal, weekends, day and night
NOC: 65311

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Clean and prepare vehicles as they return from Vancouver Airport (YVR).
  • Empty garbage and recycling bins as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the wash bay by pressure-washing the bay floor.
  • Shovel snow and salt walkways around the building as required.
  • Sweep and mop communal office areas.
  • Clean and organise child seats; report any damaged seats to the manager.
  • Conduct deep cleans on vehicles during quieter times.
  • Monitor wash bay supplies and report replenishment needs to the manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operations.

Requirements

  • BC driver’s licence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
  • Availability for a variety of shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
  • Familiarity with vehicle cleaning products and processes is an asset.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Calm, pleasant and helpful manner.
  • Organised, punctual and reliable.
  • Excellent driving skills and habits.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
