Position Overview

As a Guest Services Agent, you will assist guests with booking transportation services offered by Whistler Connection. Our Guest Services Team is located in the Whistler Connection HQ in Nesters, with panoramic mountain views. The ideal candidate will be personable, helpful and will have excellent communication skills. They should enjoy talking on the phone and will have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Reports to: Guest Services Supervisor
Based in: Whistler, BC
Starting Wage: $20 per hour
Hours: Full time, seasonal, weekends
NOC: 64313

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all Whistler Connection products and services.
  • Assist guests regarding transportation options in an informative and helpful way.
  • Accurately enter reservations requests and reservation modifications using our booking system.
  • Be an organised, responsible, punctual, accountable individual who has a sense of urgency and recognises the importance of adhering to customer service standards.
  • Liaise with Dispatch and other departments as required.
  • Work well with the team as a whole by contributing at team meetings and maintaining flexibility in your schedule.
  • A willingness to adapt to changes in workflow and environment is required as our business is ever-changing.
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Be able to read, write, clearly speak and comprehend the English language.
  • Experience with Windows and general computer knowledge.
  • Be available to work a variety of shift patterns including evenings and weekends.

Not essential, but a plus:

  • Previous work in phone sales or support.
  • Good knowledge of the sea to sky area.
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry.
